Lost pets are no more with the latest GPS device
18th August 2008
An inventor based in the UK has come up with a way for all cat and dog owners to never have to worry about losing their pets again. “Pawtrack” is the latest GPS device to come on to the market, it is a small box that is attached to the animal’s collar which allows the owner to track their every move!
Inventor, Jeremy Price, was inspired to develop this technology after he lost his cat, he does not want anyone to go through the pain and anguish of not knowing where their beloved feline or canine has disappeared to, like he had to.
This device will not stop the animal getting into harms way, by crossing busy roads or getting trapped in dangerous situations, but it will no doubt prevent the problem as owners can locate their animals quickly. The device does not look particular heavy to humans, but surely to a cat or dog it might create a bit of a backache! Perhaps the micro-chip is still the lightest and best way of finding your lost pet.
