European Funding for Low Carbon Emissions Projects 23/09/2010

On Friday 8th October between 1pm and 4pm a workshop looking to attract interest in European Regional Development Funding will take place in the Chamberlain Room – Birmingham City Council House on Victoria Square.  Nick Bennett from Aston University is leading on this event with Science City.  This event will focus on Environmental and Energy Projects looking to exploit new technologies to reduce our carbon footprint.   Digital Birmingham is actively working on the green agenda with DEHEMS project and the Green Digital Charter and is seeking to be proactive in supoprting new projects.

Keeping on top of new developments 12/05/2009

Listening to the BBC Breakfast News yesterday, while getting ready for work, didn’t really tell me anything I didn’t already know. Is that because I am always one step ahead when it comes to breaking news? No, it is because I am working at Digital Birmingham!

Wading through all the information about the ministerial expenses debate, Bill Turnbull and Susanna Reid turned their attention to innovation in the terms of smart metering and intelligent transport – both of which Digital Birmingham supports in the local area.
