The Birmingham Post has four twitter accounts providing updates on West Midlands News, Business, Culture & Lifestyle and Sport.
Facebook is the UK's most popular social networking website.
Facebook allows you to add your friends and business contacts and you can adjust your access levels to protect the contacts.
If you add the Birmingham Post as a friend on facebook and invite it to events, they will be promoted on the Post's Events Diary.
Google has a Business Calendar application. The Birmingham Post has a Business Diary based upon this resource which will help you keep up-to-date with events in the West Midlands.
