Birmingham UKYP Election 2010
25/01/2010 - 11/02/2010
For the first time, aswell as voting for their Members of the Youth Parliament (MYPs), this is the chance for young people to vote on the issue that matters the most to them.
From 25 January 2010 for 17 days, children and young people will be able to elect five new members of the UK Youth Parliament (who will represent Birmingham young people locally, regionally and nationally) and vote on the BIG ISSUE 2010. There are 14 schools who will be participating in a paper ballot, but votes can also be cast online.
The top five issues will form this year's campaigns for the five new MYPs.
You can register to vote in the election before the voting begins. Young people will also be able to submit their comments about the potential MYPs manifestos and on the BIG ISSUE.
