  1. Keeping IT in the Family

    Keeping IT in the Family is a comic based resource designed to help pupils teach the adults in their family how to use IT. It is sponsored by Microsoft and BECTA. Sherbaz one a prize for the essay he wrote about how he taught his Gran to use the computer.

     
  2. Warda has benefited from her oldest child getting a family computer, with internet access installed in her home. For Warda it has meant that she has been able to build a small interpreter business that fits into her child care responsibilities. This has resulted from an Aston Pride(NDC) and Digital Birmingham intervention.
     
  3. A discussion with Anthony Bernstein of Clicks and Links about the Connected Neighbourhoods Forum. This is a DC10 project where Birmimngham is working with ten other UK cities to address the digital divide and investigate ways in which neighbourhoods can support each other.
