Free Internet Access at the Library

You can now use the Internet in every service area in the Central Library. This facility is free.

Most of the computers can be used on a drop-in basis, but advance bookings can be made. At present this is limited to one hour per person per day in Central Library.

Hourly bookings are available Monday to Friday 09.00-19.45 and on Saturday 09.00-16.45. These can be booked up to one week in advance.

Library staff will agree a time of arrival with you and they will allow you to be up to 10 minutes late. After this time they may reallocate the computer to somebody else.

They will ask you for your name and a contact number when they arrange a booking. This will help them to get in touch with you if the service breaks down for any reason.

Please contact the Library if you need to cancel your booking.

Please leave promptly at the end of your booking.

Computer adaptations for people with disabilities are available and staff will help with these.
