Birmingham Snaps Competition

Congratulations to the winners!


Keen photographers from across the city have been presented with digital cameras as their prize for winning the 'Birmingham Snaps' competition, organised by Digital Birmingham as part of its 'Get into Digital' month, aimed at demonstrating the potential and benefits of technology.

Picture of the winners of the Birmingham Snaps Competition with the Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council and Mike Bathard from Computerland.Entrants from all parts of Birmingham were invited to take digital photographs of life in their local area and upload them to 'The Big Picture' website, which was collecting photos from all over the West Midlands with the aim of creating the world's biggest photo mosaic.

The winners from each constituency attended a recent presentation at Birmingham's council house, where they were presented with their prize donated by Computerland UK Ltd and presented by Birmingham City Council deputy leader Paul Tilsley, who heads up the Digital Birmingham partnership.
