Ellen MacArthur launches Be Birmingham's 2008 CO2 Challenge
Are you planning to cut your carbon emissions this year? 17,000 people in Birmingham have already used to pledge to reduce carbon dioxide pollution.
Whether they are switching off standby or switching to greener energy, each is helping to reach the city wide target of 100,000 tonnes of CO2 saved in Birmingham in 2008. That means everyone in the city has a personal target to cut the carbon they create by 100kg this year.
