The Taylor Family

The Taylors from Harborne are the January family . Are Bren, Juliet and their family a typical digital family? Maybe, let's see why they think they are digital.
They all have digital phones so most of their communication is digital. They have a digital wirless weather station in their garden so there is no going out into the cold to read the outside temperature
The Wi and X box in the sitting room show that it is not all work and no play for the two teenagers in the house and the television is definitely digital. The internet isaccessed using a variety of laptops linked to a secure wireless network and a lot of shopping, banking, research and communication is online.
Is there anything not digital, maybe? The bathroom scales have yet to be converted. In the last ten years the Taylors have, like lots of us, been slowly overtaken by the digital revolution and this has profoundly changed their lives.
In the coming months we will be looking in more detail at how our families are coping with particular aspects of this change and this month the focus is on internet safety.
