The Digital Family - Shopping

  1. Shopping in Birmingham

On one Saturday just before Christmas Julie, Sophie and Keiran went shopping in town. While they were there they used their latest PSP's and a new BT phone to access Birmingham Fizz. This free internet service gave them a lot of information about the City and where to go and what to see. It also gave them directions.

    Shopping Online

Simon had never bought anything online so this was quite an exciting experience for him. Keiran had broken his phone charger so Simon had to find a supplier and then order it. He was reluctant to use his credit card until it was pointed out to him that if the site had a padlock image and an address starting with https// then the site was completely secure.
