Free wifi.....on a bus?
13/01/2009

School children in Birmingham are able to access the internet through a Wi-fi connection enabled through the "Green Bus". The bus scheme is being run by Icomera, through their newly acquired Moovbox mobile gateway.

Icomera's aim is for school children to have an innovative travelling experience, having access to the web, their emails and playing web-based games during their journey.

An additional service enables parents and the school to follow the location of the bus by GPS tracking, in realtime, providing re-assurance that their child's mode of transportation is running.
