The Community Broadband Network and Alcatel Lucent have worked together to provide a number of Next Gen roadshows across the country (Gateshead, Nottingham, Bristol and Basingstoke) over the last few months, and on 22nd April this roadshow will arrive in Birmingham.

The event has been designed as a one day workshop aiming to inform participants about the latest state of play with next generation broadband nationally and regionally. These will be 'can do' affairs, highlighting local action and opportunities for new project development.

The roadshows are intended for key influencers and senior staff in local government (procurement, IT, strategy and planning, regeneration, finance, eGovernment, economic development, building control, learning and corporate communications), Regional Development Agency officials, planners, business, community and other stakeholders.

The standard delegate rate is £50 plus VAT.
