What is NET EUCEN?

The NET-EUCEN (Network of European Stakeholders for Enhance User Centricity in eGovernance) project has been funded by the European Commission for the benefit of all European citizens and stakeholders in the domains of Governance and Policy Modelling aimed at the development and assessment of user-centred services.

NET-EUCEN targets at defining the guidelines for the development of innovative services for citizens by extending to all European countries and including partners with relevant knowledge on mass implementation of on-line service and eInclusion policies. We focus specific attention upon the assessment of innovative application scenarios, foster their industrialisation, set-up and market analysis all over Europe by supporting the multidisciplinary approach to the finding of innovative ICT solutions for citizens, communities and public services.

The EU recognise NET-EUCEN as one of its most important tools in its efforts to position the European Union as a leader in the definition and assessment of user-centred services.

During the whole project duration we expect to enrol hundreds of eGovernment players from Europe and in the most interesting world areas such as U.S. and Japan. NET-EUCEN itself will be a specific multi-disciplinary eGOV Community that is expected to be self-sustainable to ensure the long-term viability of the scenarios and wide adoption of the project results.
